Posting because people might be desperate and this still works out cheaper than ebay.

The set I have is all in one box, and the tunnels etc. are in bits. Would probably be okay if well padded in the post, but some ebayers might want the square box for ease of christmas wrapping etc.

the ebay item I linked to earlier is just the bit you see through the plastic at the top of the set, so they are selling patches and a blanketless carrier which are attached to the cardboard, but it doesn't come boxed and I don't know how safe an unboxed hammy would be in the post!

Agreed. Research, design & development costs generally dictate that only one set of plans/casts are used.

Just my own personal opinion though!

Not sure the hamster can go up the slide, my guess is that set is not set up to actually play and is just posed for the photo in a way it all fits on a page to look exciting. The wheel needs to be attached to a tube for hammy to get onto it, the slide needs to be attached from the top so hammy can go down the slide onto the floor.

The set alone can work but not set up like that photo has shown.

I have the spanish set but haven't put it together. husband refuses, it was hard enough to get back into the box when we checked it was all there.

Get to your local toys r us tomorrow. They all have stock coming in first come etc. Would have to get there for about 07.30-08.00 though i would guess.

he/she (chris/christine?) said ebay. I've found a seller who has spanish sets of car and pips, or dome and the delightful gorgeous chunk
