Fiat 500 or Hyundai I10?

I'm currently looking at new cars as my old one keeps needing money spent on it.
I'm looking at a 500 or an I10 but cant decided.
Statistcially they are very similar on mpg, emissions etc etc
I love the look of the 500 but I10 has a 5 year warranty.

Any opinions?

  • have you actually driven either of them?

unless you do big miles, mpg isnt really the biggest consideration
  • not yet but I am on saturday.
I'm looking for other peoples opinions on what they would choose

i10, Hyundai's are excellent value and as stated, have a 5 year warranty.

Well specified for the money as well.

I haven't driven either but I imagine they are very different cars to drive.

One thing that would put me off the i10 is (according to my husband who has driven one) that the indicator stalk is apparently on the right hand side, and every car I've ever driven has had it on the left. I find it hard to adjust to things like that and reckon I'd end up causing an accident!

Also the i10 is just an 'ordinary' car whereas the 500 is a bit of a style icon.

I've a mate who went to Italy and was saying how his frends picked him up in "a crappy little Fiat" and he was crammed in the back and I replied "you mean a bit like when you gave me a lift in your 500?".
