  • Spent 2 hrs preparing 50 bks with different leaflets for front depending on existing customer, ticked 'wants a book' but not ordered so far, and, books left out but 'yes/no' boxes not ticked etc and we're snowbound! Territory 5 min drive away on a good day! 2moz morn was only time available for drop... not happy!! Peoples drives wont be gritted either even if I walked that far!! Cant risk a broken leg!!

Does £5 VOUCHER count towards MOV even if no commission earned eg
    £40 vouchers
    £60 full price items
    £100 total
    £15 only commission earned...

Not sure ow many c4 i might need so ordered c3 only in c2 thinking will order c4 books in c3. Checked invoice for c2 and they've charged me for a c4! not fair! Do i assume from this that you must order books 2 camps ahead. What if you want to miss alternate camps? Not looking quite such a good idea now this Avon lark!!
  • Got that wrong..
    if.....
    £40 vouchers
    £60 full price
    Total £100
    MOV £52?
    Commission = £12?
    take away books etc.....
  • Could be wrong on this, Dingdong, but if you're new to Avon then you've probably been charged a minimal amount (15p?) for one book but they will have sent you 20. Happened to me and it's a good, rather than a bad, thing.... ;) If I'm way off the mark then my apologies.

Sorry about all your wasted time. Again, if you're fairly new then do you actually need to order 50 books or have I misunderstood and half are your current and half your back campaign? My SL set me off from the start with splitting my customers between given territory (current campaign) and friends & family (back campaign). Cuts down on the amount of books you need to buy and even so I've found this campaign I will have some books that won't be used. What a waste..... :(

if you don't order any books and Avon do like you to order 2 campaigns ahead, then they will charge you 55p for 1 book.

Am guessing you're probably quite right but I would've thought that Avon would've allowed the £5 voucher to count towards our sales re. PC - yes/no?

I'd say yes. PC etc is based upon sales, whether those sales are paid for by yourself or vouchers should be irrelevent. Otherwise it'd be like saying that only the sales value after commission has been taken off would count, and that doesn't happen.

You'll receive some samples free in your 2nd, 4th and 6th delivery, depending upon how much you sell. What I did was make a leaflet saying something along the lines of:

As a thank you to my customers, all orders over £10 will receive a goodie bag of samples from avons range of products. To help me tailor these samples to your needs please complete the following:

    Foundation, light/medium/dark
    Lipsticks, pink/red/brown,
    Skin type, normal, dry, older
Fragrance, mens, womens (can choose both)

This way, you are getting people to spend more, and the samples you give them will be of use - it led to further sales afterwards for me, as people liked the products they received. I'd wait to run this though until you have received the other sample packs otherwise you run the risk of paying out of lots of samples.

  • Thanks for your answers, think its what Aureol said ie 55p for the one book looking at the invoice..

Just had 3 items returned to me.. not done any returns as in return and credit yet. I have one box ready for the driver tomorrow with the replacement antler bag in, done the replacement paperwork online and printed off etc. Box not sealed yet..... can I do the three items for return and put in same box? Thinking.. driver would have to sign two bits of paper for only one box...

yep thats fine - its exactly what I do! So long as you have the barcode number written on all the forms then its ok, just get the delivery driver to sign all the forms and its no problem. :)

    Hi Dingdong

Yes you can do the 3 item returns and put in the same box. The driver is not going to have a problem signing 2 bits of paper.
