no you should give the customers who ordered £10 or more in brochure 1 or 2. no 18s as they havent qualified x

Thanks phia; that's what I thought but then did wonder if the Campaign 1 and 2 referred to my Campaign 1 and 2 i.e. irrespective of which books they order from (I do tend to make the most of creative ordering so just because they're on C1 doesn't mean that I necessarily order from that book ;) )

  • No promises, obviously, but even if Avon say something is out of stock it can be worth re-ordering it. Am guessing that people are returning stuff all the time so you could be lucky. This didn't occur to me until I started doing Betterware (their policy is that anything out of stock is automatically re-ordered).

Elderly lady was really disappointed in my last campaign that the umbrella in the clearance book was out of stock (was the only thing she ordered and unfortunately she was out when I dropped her next book off so I couldn't apologise personally, which I felt bad about). Anyway, I re-ordered it without mentioning it to her and yippee :j it arrived in yesterday's delivery. Took it round with her order, told her what I'd done and obviously there was no obligation for her to now buy it but when she saw it she was over the moon. (Was going to have it myself if she didn't want it as it's sooooo dinky and cute!) So that's another really happy customer.

Some days I just love Avon! :rotfl:

  • Just a word of warning about the umbrella (sorry don't want to put a downer on it!), Avon gave me one as a free gift, and I gave it to my mother in law. She has given it me back - it is rubbish - really flimsy and it won't stay up. I hope you have more luck with yours!

The Thomas Play a Sound book seems to be back in stock too. A customer had ordered it this time and I'd warned her it may be out of stock, but it's now showing a green tick. I've also contacted the customer who ordered it last time round when it was OOS :D

yes, Marsden Cuckoo, I am finding stuff that was out of stock is now coming back in. A customer really likes the bracelets, and has ordered one previously for a friend's birthday, then she wanted another one. Told her it was out of stock but she asked me to order it again on C1 as she was ordering other stuff and lo and behold it was in stock!

That's a bit naughty though, having to keep telling comes not to reorder as showing out of stock and then it comes into stock. Oh well. We learn as we go along.

Thanks for the warning. Will ask her after Christmas if she likes it.

Whilst on the subject of 'free gifts', I've just found out that the vanity bag I won/earned by hitting all my targets has a dicky zip (sprained at both corners). Suppose it is useable but am dubious about putting stuff in it and not being able to get them out again - not good, particularly if in front of a customer! Any chance do you reckon I could get Avon to replace it?

Ordered shimmer eyeshadow in Silver Sparks for a friend in C18, out of stock, and still out of stock for my C1 order which has arrived today. There is a letter in one of the boxes saying that they aren't getting any more.
Is this a letter that anybody else who's had OOS items has had?
Its still in C2 book, so should I try to re-order it?
