Thank you for your lovely words of wisdom Lozza.
I think though, MC and ss are both upset as probably like me, they are relying on this income to help make ends meet and it is really frustrating when you are trying so hard to recruit reps and they sign up and go to ground, or like mine, are lazy, take the money and spend it at xmas, don't tell you they no longer want to do avon, etc.
You just feel like saying to people, "listen! Don't sign up for Avon, if you don't like a bit of hard work, don't mess me around, if you want to stop, that's fine, tell me, don't just stop. If you change your mind, text me and tell me you are no longer interested, don't waste my time and money."
I'm sorry for the essay just having a really stressful time at the moment and feeling a bit disillusioned with life.
As you say all those at the top, started from the bottom the same as us, being let down in the same way, and they will still be being let down - but once you have 5 good reps then it isn't as much of a blow. Hang on in there - if leads come your way, sign them, but don't stress over it it isn't worth it - definately go with a job at least you know what you'll be earning, and as you say you can continue with avon. Took me ages to get 5 reps, only managed it about campagin 17 last year (started as a sl in c10), thought I'd have to start again after Christmas but thankfully no one left. Had one memorable sign up - had arranged to meet her outside a shop as she lived with her boyfriend & his parents so wanted to meet in a coffee shop. Fine - we drove there (an hour away, but we really wanted to get 5 as soon as poss, and oh said it was no problem) - and she didn't show, no answer on her phone, wouldn't text me back, nothing. Very peed off over that one - but it taught me a valuable lesson - contact people on the same day as you should be meeting them, ,if they don't answer & don't text you back, then don't go, saves a wasted journey. You've already learnt A with the rep that left the other week (that you prepped books for with samples etc), that with some people theres just no helping them. As soon as its obvious someone is a "lost cause" don't go the extra mile for them, just offer them advice on the phone/email/text, only go the extra mile for those reps that will actually appreciate it.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Anyway, I am currently on C6 and this is only my second camp, so still on the 20 free books. Should I have received more of these as there is no way I can show one book to all customers, or have I only received one because I am still on the free books.
i had my order arrive yesterday, on 2nd campaign and i didnt receive any sale books, only HTC7 - 221.05 :j C8 - 308.07 :j C9 - 250.84 :j C10 - £525.25 :j:j C11 - £467.91 :j C12 - 491.44 :j C13 - £442.09 :j C14 - £357.95 :j0 -

hi bargainsearcher
as it is your second campaign, and your upliner - ASM or SL would have given you, your books, it was upto them to give you the sales books to go with the C6 books.
My upliner doesn't give them to customers or to new reps. Me, personally, give them to customers and reps.
You could ask your upliner for them, and if they still have them, they should give them to you.0 -

Gloversgirl, your upliner should have given you your 2nd set of books and again the sale books, if you are on C6.0 -

I will try for more playgroups and stuff for DS, but it needs to be really cheap or easy for me to get to, ie no bus as all his CB has already gone on nappies, wipes, formula, etc.
Sorry to hear you're having a tough time. Have you a library local - they often have nursery rhyme sessions (rhyme time) and storytelling. Also the local churches (I'm not religious myself) have some very good groups. I use a sure start group and find they also do courses from time to time where the little ones go to the creche and the mums have some grown up time.
Before I had DD, I worked in 6 different jobs. They were all part time - few hours here, few hours there. All pocket money type wages/returns but it all adds up. Would you be able to do evening work - there are always vacancies for care workers.
Out of interest - where abouts in the south are you?

Hi Gloversgirl, yes it does, but I can't tell you what you should be receiving as don't know enough about trendsetters.0
