  • Just to add...(grr) Ive been told i have to have 5 reps ordering (I have 6) a certain amount of personal sales (which i hit) and £888 in total orders....

WELL...One customer has had problems with her bank etc so couldnt get the money until next week. Its quite a large order (£46.50) so i credited it as i needed to submit my next order and pay my balance. Which means i can pay next camp (?) ANYWAY....Looked on my order management thing and ive got 6 reps, personal sales, total = dun dun dun....£844!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I missed out by that one order! gutted! so am i right in thinking no commission?

Im not sweating it as this is my second camp as a sl so im quite proud that ive got this far that quickly so its given me that extra push to really go for it this time
    camp 12=£443 13=£425 14=£277 15=£474 16=£492 17=£438 18=£437 1=£319 2=£153:o 3=£220 :jSALES LEADER:j4=£202 5=£191 6=£167 7=£193 8=£216 9=£211

  • Thanks aureol and poppet; sorry, got a further query now. I signed up 5 newbies, have just received my 'welcome email' re. being a Sales Leader but when I notify Avon of the 2 resignations will that push me back again to being a Trainee Sales Leader?

Once you have signed and returned your sl paperwork you are officially a sl regardless of how many reps you have. Once you have 5 then you are a qualified sl if that makes sense. So once you have returned your paperwork you can apply for a sl website even if you don't have 5, I got my site ages before I had 5.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

I wasn't allowed one before I got my 5 and became an SL? Oh well, never mind. Have it now, just don't remember how they put my name on it, have had to email them and ask.
  • I am on my second campaign now and really enjoying it. I have picked up some new customers from my territory this time. I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the valuable information on this thread - I would be lost without it!!

I do have a question regarding going self employed and child tax credits. I have no idea how many hours to say that I am working on average per week. As I am finding my feet with it, it is really hard to judge. What has everyone else said? How much time does everyone else spend on Avon each week?

Thanks, yes, the congratulatory email from Avon invites me to have my own website. Am deffo interested in that but a little wary because whilst I signed 5 reps, two have now changed their minds within the 14 day period. Just wondered if/how that affected me?

Gather until I have 5 working reps then I won't earn any commission or is it more to do with placing 6 orders within your group and meeting the £888 sales order? (If the latter, would it help if two of my group placed additional orders - or does that not make a difference?)

Thanks again. As before, am wondering how 2 of my sign-ups resigning will affect me i.e. will Avon withdraw their offer for me to have my own website? Questions, questions, questions..... (Trust me not to do it the 'easy way'! :o )

I told Tax Credits I was working 20 hours a week. As long as it over 16 you qualify dependent on earnings between you and hubby. ;)

I think the team placing additional orders won't help. You need to have 5 in your team.

One of mine went to debt at Christmas and Avon have reclaimed the commission paid for her, but as my team didn't put in many orders last month, it has left me owing them £2.86. :(

In HT7 you can get an eye cream + an eye make up for £7. Are you only allowed to order 1 cream + 1 make up or one of each (3 creams + 3 make ups)? Thanks x
