Hi all
Have just taken the plunge and signed up to become a new Rep (im in Kent) have got my sign up meeting on Tuesday :O)
Had a quick look at the online shop and pleased that the stuff seems really good value with the promotions. Can see i will order a bit for myself! or maybe best to do this at a time when need to get numbers up to get the min order value?
Have already designed a leaflet introducing myself and showing special offers which hopefully they will say is ok.
Do you all order every 3 weeks and drop cats to same houses or sometimes give them a bit of a break before.
Plus do you put through letter boxes or outside we have quite a few londoner's that come up for the weekend so may not get them back!
So many questions!!
This is a great site will keep checking in now as you all seem to know what you are doing.0 -
Hi and welcome! I tend to order myself stuff when its on offer, but yes if you are struggling to hit mov/hov you could stock up then as well.
I give everyone a brochure every campaign, did this even over the short campaigns - with every brochure having different offers in its best to deliver everytime (unless they request differently) as you never know when an offer might tempt them to try something new or to stock up on their favourite product.
I'd put brochures through every letter box rather than leave them outside - yes you will loose a few brochures to start with, but thats just the way it goes unfortunately. You will soon work out who doesn't give them back so you can then avoid them in the future.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Or search for Avon rep swadlincote
Does anyone else have a facebook group? I'll happily join if you post the link or what to search for! Figure the more members we all have the more chance we'll have of the groups being a success, as it will enourage other people to join to!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Well no response back yet from Avon, but by googling again I have found this on the UK avonshop site:
Does Avon test on animals?
In 1989, Avon was the first major beauty company to stop testing products and ingredients on animals. Avon does not test products or ingredients on animals, nor do we request others to do so on our behalf. As a leader in the search for alternatives, Avon took a proactive role by opening an in-house cell culture facility dedicated to the development of in-vitro alternatives to animal tests. As a leading name in beauty, Avon still actively supports and funds external organisations in the UK (FRAME), Europe and the USA that are working to develop viable alternatives to animal testing in all fields.
So there we are! Have printed off to give to my customer. There are some other interesting FAQ's which you might find useful at:

Don't know if anyone would be interested, but I've found an Advance Techniques Smoothing Conditioner (its a discontinued one) in my stash box when I was sorting it earlier. I used to use it when I straightened my hair, but now I curl it it isn't much use! Cost was 75p, don't know how much postage would be, but if anyones interested pm me and I can weigh and let you know how much second class would be.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

MarsdenCuckoo wrote: »Thanks Rah. Since first posting about this I was just about getting the hang of it (I was trying to do it palm up instead of palm down, which makes it a lot easier.... Doh!) but then got over-confident, pulled the cord wrongly and got it stuck! (Double Doh!) Soooo frustrating that I think I can now do it but I can't because I can't get the cord out! Have requested a replacement so will try again next campaign.
Cool - I have just made a little A5 flyer from that to put in for the customers who have ordered the ball0 -

the black dots aren't just held against the address it's the person they relate to that's important as well so no it won't affect the widower.
There are two discrete aspects here:
1) The credit agency aspect of a debt which affects an individual
2) The 'black dots' on the Avon system which highlight an address with Avon debtHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
