    Hi,just installed AVG9. successfully, updated it, it turned defender off, turned it back on, doing avg scan now, seems ok. did not get your hijack post, closed comp down to instal, can you do it again please, sorry about that.

    just a quick note. AVG9 also killed performance on our computer doing a scan, so I uninstalled it and went for the microsoft one as recommended by MSE. it's easy to set up, seems to perform well, and (hopefully) still does a good AV job.
