welcome to the [STRIKE]mad house[/STRIKE] gang youngmummy, it's never too late to join us, but be warned once you're in theres no escaping us again!
Sue will be about soon to give you your number. Sparky likes it if you can pop it in your sig so he can keep track on his magical little spreadsheet (along with a running total of any money you need to borrow from the pot). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I love this thread
fun and colourful!
Found a quid on the floor in my car and asked my OH to kindly put all his coppers in his car he dumps there. I sold my camcorder on ebay for £95 WOOHOO sadly - its paying my overdraft and the lovely 22 pound charge they kindly added onpoor me! haha. anyways at least its going down. So taking money out of paypal today it should be about £190 to put into the pot. As long as there are no other charges!!
Cant wait to get my wages this week, every evening im going to put all my spare change in there. Happy saving.Total debt £17,135 total paid off £5250 -

Back from work, I think I've worked out now all the places they abandon those poor little copper coloured coins and am having a quick 'sweep' of the bar before I open up and coming up with a few pennies every night at the moment.
Quick reminder though when going to the bank to pay in change it really does help to take either a paying in slip or your bank card....I drove down to the nearest branch of my bank this afternoon to pay in some bags of change (I think left from last years challenge, found while I was packing to move) and a cheque and realised when I got to the counter than I didn't have my debit card with me! Thankfully they could find my account from the sort code I could remember but it was incredibly embarrassing. Wouldn't have minded too much back home as the bank was a 10 min walk from home but here the nearest one is about 8 miles away in a town I have no need to visit. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
