Hi all,
TheBees are back after an absence of several months. No real excuse apart from generally being busy.

We seem to be getting a lot less loose change these days but still keep popping it into either the whisky bottle (£1 coins), puffin money box (£2 coins) or the hexagonal glass terrarium (all other change!). Can't believe how fast this year has gone and it'll soon be time for the big count again.

You're right about this year and the speed at which it's going, though DH & I haven't had a holiday yet and I'm sure for me that's the reason. Popped some coinage into my pot. Fantastic to see we've broken the 1000th member total, how popular are we? Still working overtime and all the days are blending into one but it's all for a good cause, only 28 days tomorrow until we go to the Big Apple YAY.

I popped £3.60 in the pot before going to bed last night.

Working all weekend, so that's stopping me from spending money, which is always a good thing! We're all getting small cash bonus at work this week, so going to donate that to the rainy day fund (My, how times have changed. A year or two ago, I would have been off to Tophshop!! Either that or it would have had to have gone to pay something that I was desperately late paying!) It feels good to be a saver! Thanks all for the motivation xx
