Ah there you are LC! Great to see you back, though didn't know you'd been! Just knew you'd absconded you little devil you. How I held back from saying "where's LC gone to" yesterday I don't know, must have been due to all the excitement of having ONE THOUSAND [STRIKE]mad folk[/STRIKE] members now! Actually that's now gone up to 1001!!! :j:j....and you didn't even notice!
So pleased you had a lovely time, though where is Santorini??? Sounds Spanish, but..... All the best with getting your cash flowing - or perhaps not LC!
Hey Sue I did notice the 1000 members...:T:T:T Just forgot to mention:o Isn't it fantastic.:D:D:D Santorini is a tiny Greek island - quite near to Crete. It's stunning, highly recommended and free from boozed-up-brits. Even I behaved:eek::eek::eek:
Hi Kerry Woman - yep, Hyde Park. I try to do it every year:A I always think it has a great atmosphere.Save me from spending...

Hi all,
TheBees are back after an absence of several months. No real excuse apart from generally being busy.
We seem to be getting a lot less loose change these days but still keep popping it into either the whisky bottle (£1 coins), puffin money box (£2 coins) or the hexagonal glass terrarium (all other change!). Can't believe how fast this year has gone and it'll soon be time for the big count again.

Hello again TheBees!!!!It's so good to see you back again! You're right about this year and the speed at which it's going, though DH & I haven't had a holiday yet and I'm sure for me that's the reason. Still, hopeful for next month even if tis for a few days. I hope you're all well. Still time to pop some more in the pot!! Don't be a stranger TB!
Well done dippy, it certainly beats what I got!
What about Kerfuffle and Our Elsie?? What rocks are you two hiding under?

Morning everyone
Popped some coinage into my pot. Fantastic to see we've broken the 1000th member total, how popular are we? Still working overtime and all the days are blending into one but it's all for a good cause, only 28 days tomorrow until we go to the Big Apple YAY.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone, stay safe and keep saving xSparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T

Wow! Over 1,000 people all dropping our pennies in the pots!! Should add up to quite a few quid by the end of the yr! Well done Sue, for managing to rope so many people in!
Welcome emmz29 and alan673. Alan - saving have of what you would have spent on cigs is a great idea - you'll be better off in every sense! Good luck with it!!
Little Chicken - well done on completing your sponsored run!!
I popped £3.60 in the pot before going to bed last night.
Working all weekend, so that's stopping me from spending money, which is always a good thing! We're all getting small cash bonus at work this week, so going to donate that to the rainy day fund (My, how times have changed. A year or two ago, I would have been off to Tophshop!! Either that or it would have had to have gone to pay something that I was desperately late paying!) It feels good to be a saver! Thanks all for the motivation xxProud to (finally!) be dealing with my debts!! DFW Nerd # 1333
