Hey LC the job's ok, suspect it'll be a bit boring once I'm settled in and know what needs doing/where everything is, as there are only a limited number of customers (it's on a 'closed campus' site so only people with permission to be inside the gate can come to the bar, but most of the time they're allowed out after work). But it means I'm working which is far better financially than not working at all.

  • Well we had my mum down to visit this weekend and she gave my son some pennies which he wanted to put in the pot!! We have 3 separate pots, one for £1 coins (it's supposed to hold £2000), one for silver and one for copper. The one for silver is a gadgety thing that counts the coins that go in and we've got just over £18 in there now! I think there's also about £20 in the £1 jar.

A walk to the train station and back produced 45p in road kill - but no train so I haven't got half of the things done I was meant to, but never mind.
