Possibly not KONG - but - you treat the darned pot just as you would if you knew it was a ticking bomb and.....keep away at all times!!! :(Though, not a lot of folk know this, but somehow it miraculously stops ticking when it knows cash is being added!!!!! :rotfl:

sparky, you're quite right...super glue is definitely the answer, so be sure to get some Catherine. :D

Well done LC 2, glad you've fixed it as I'd hate folk to be going all over the site looking for the darned BOX thread. ;) Twas lovely here til mid afternoon, but cloudy since.

Sounds as though you were magnetized to that town and pub scuba, jammy so and so! Well done you! :T

I'll possibly be back later folks. Have a good evening.

kong don't have sue and me have to come around to your house to give you a chinese burn, and make you stand in the corner! I'm surprised Sue didn't send you to the naughty seat with no supper, she must be getting soft as she gets (slightly :D) older

    Afternoon everyone

    Hope you are all ok
I'm still potting, had to break into the pot in the summer as things got a tad tight so I've had in total £105 from it since we started, but if it wasn't for the pot we'd be right in it!!! I've been saving hard since my last dip so hopefully will still reach my target, also wanted to check on the date for opening - seem to have 03.12.10 in my head - is that right

    Keep potting everyone

It never ceases to amaze me how careless some people are with copper coloured coins....found almost 30p's worth lying about the floor in the bar last night, so I have reinstated my old method of putting it in to the smaller tin. I'll obviously add anything I have in there when I open it up to my sig, and the coins which can't be bagged up will be added to the bottle - it sounds complicated but right now I don't like the idea of having money lying around (other than my sealed £2 tin and bottle for this challenge) when it could be put to better use in the bank.
