So do people keep track of the total of their 'sealed pot' or should it be left a surprise to the end ?

    Hi All.
Confession time! Had to open the pot this morning! Needed a float for the Car Boot and had only 42p in change so I had to get the can opener out!! Car Boot wasn't a raging success - only made about £30 and didn't get rid of much stuff! But I have had a count up and I had £86.06 in my pot. Not bad but less than it should be to keep on target of £350 for Christmas. So I have transferred it all to my other tin (the one for £1 coins and notes) which hadn't got much in and I will continue from here. I will use the £30 to cut the CC debt a little bit I think - it all helps I suppose.
Enjoy whats left of the Bank Holiday!

I wait for the surprise at the end of the challenge :D But some people keep a tally. It's entirely up to you SH.;)

I was going to say that there were no pennies for me yet again.:(:(:( But raided Mr LC's trouser pockets and found a giant golden coin. That's £2 for my piggie. Oink-Oink! :T
Am off to the gym shortly. So do not want to but i'm getting fatter than my piggy-wig. :o:o:o

    Hi

I find it easier to bank the money as so far it's made up of:

£5.00 a month reward from my Halifax Reward account and the rest is £326.00 from a matured savings account, £12.00 in 1p and 2p coins and other bits of spare money.

I'm keeping a running total of what needs to go in (I'm using my pot to find out what I make over the year as I don't work so am available to play free bingo all day and get free cinema tickets and survey rewards and I put in the value of other freebies I get) until I put it in my box but once its in its forgotten til count up time!

Sue and LC, I like your methods of getting money made me lol. Nice one.

Sparky, that list is so accurate mate.

It's so good to see a man approving of we female's ideas, don't you think LC?? :happylove Beware of any plots Sarah has in mind Paul!!! :p Like giving you a smacker :kisses2: whilst her hand goes inside your pocket!! :j Who says passion doesn't pay off.

Be careful of what you're saying (above) to sparky too!

A tenner sounds perfect to me LC 2! In for a penny, in for whatever!

Well done Missy Dee, it's good to hear from you. I hope OH's cash pile isn't cluttering up the place any longer! ;)

Congratulations on your £30 win Queenriderbrekke! :T

Very well done indeed on your IOM fund sparky! :T A lovely amount there. I knew your DW's the boss, just wondered if you did!! :p

SummerHeat, I'm like LC, I wait for the surprise at the end, but you do what feels right for you.

Not to worry muchowing, it came in handy for you, that's what counts. I think we all have goals in mind for what we'd wish to see on opening our pots up at Christmas, but don't worry too much, just do your best to save what's possible for YOU! :)

Caz, that all sounds lovely to me, and it's good to think of you enjoying it all, you deserve it with all you've been through. Well done! :)

LC, that's so good of you to lighten the burden for Mr LC, very thoughtful indeed! ;)

Another good day in the garden, spent most of it cleaning out the (home made by DH, bless him) stream, it now looks and sounds even more blissful as it trickles more easily into the pond. :) No cash, but plenty of therapy!

Ah well, another week beckons folks, enjoy it.
