Evening, Not been around much I have a new job and it's horrible hours.
I have discovered DH has been dumping all his lose change in his bedside table for months so when he was at work I unsealed my pot, tipped it all in then resealed it:rotfl:

The pot weighs a ton now and he hasn't even missed it:j

By eck, the confessions on how folk get to their hubbie's cash are many, but I'm sure this one tops the lot ...so far! passthewine, I can't possibly condone this sort of behaviour on the thread, but I'll darn well applaud it!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Oh very well done indeed. I just loved this bit " The pot weighs a ton now and he hasn't even missed it:j" :rotfl::rotfl: Keep your eyes peeled PTW!!! ;)

Hi again LC, I'm glad you've told us more about it, I'm so pleased to hear you really enjoyed it all, but it's great to have you back with us.

Lets hope things will soon pick up for you fishcakes.

Pleased you were able to have your birthday BBQ chopsuey. Have a good time away but be sure they don't keep you at the zoo. ;) Only joking.

By the way folks, Anyone 'ere seen LC2

I had 3 numbers on the lottery, so that'll be another £10er in the pot tomorrow!! :j

Have a lovely week all, and keep stress-free, it's never worth putting your health at risk. :)

Sue. x New friends wishing to join us, please just ask below and I'll be with you ASAP.

Have been adding to the pot as much as possible and its now getting full as only a small pot. Am on the look out for a larger one as sure I must have one somewhere and when I find it I will be transfering the pennies into it but without counting them as will wait until the count up date.

Every night I go through my purse and add all the change, DH often contributes as well although at the moment he doesnt realise he does :D

    Happy Savings everyone :j

Great total Kas - and we're not even half way through the year.
No pennies for me as I haven't been out and about but I'm planning to pop to the shops on Wednesday so watch this space.

Another £3.60 in the pot tonight - popped across to the corner shop opposite DS's to get him some milk etc while he was cooking, and changed a £5 note. Then as mothers do, I wouldn't let him pay me (would have had more for the pot if I had!)

Anyway, he cooked us a nice meal which included rice, beetroot, onions, mushrooms, kidney beans and ransoms (wild garlic) which he'd foraged in the woods and frozen. He just cut off a chunk and wilted it into the rest of his vegs. May sound disgusting but it was delicious!

Then I went out to W.I. while he looked after his dad for me. What a lovely son!
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!
