Put 90p in yesterday and £3.20 in today. Gradually mounting up!

Since I went on hols my technique is to drop any loose change I get into the bottom of my handbag (notes in purse as usual) - then transfer to the pot when I get home.

Haven't yet had to dig into it while still out.
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

I think thats a great idea Winchelsea. I'm off to Chester on Wednesday for 2 nights with my OH. He's taking me to chester zoo as my birthday present. I can't wait :-) I'm going to try that, but I may take a sandwhich bag or something to keep them from clinking together. :rotfl:I'm hoping to have lots.

Thank-you all for my birthday wishes for last week. We had a brilliant BBQ and it forcast for rain, but was only spitting for about 10 mins then stopped. We were really lucky.
We went to a family christening the next day to which my cold was properly kicking in. So I've spent some of this week in bed recouperating!
I hope to have a lot more change next week to add so that's making me feel a bit better!

£1 in change into sealed pot and a £5 into my notes box.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. :) x

    Hello to all the savers!!

Yes i am sooo glad i had the pot to dip into....and the lovely surprise that there was enough money in there to get the new washing machine :T this was bought and paid for on thursday , delivered on friday and 10 days washing is now done, and draped around the house as its hissing down with rain :D

I'm definitely continuing with the £2 daily in a new sealed pot as i WILL have my lurcher pup by christmas... so there!!!! Thanks for all the encouragement and support.

Evening, Not been around much I have a new job and it's horrible hours.
I have discovered DH has been dumping all his lose change in his bedside table for months so when he was at work I unsealed my pot, tipped it all in then resealed it:rotfl:

The pot weighs a ton now and he hasn't even missed it:j

Have managed to get three weeks worth of promised xmas money from DH £15.00 :j Just need to try and match it over the next few weeks. I am also thinking of doing a virtual sealed pot, but need to get online with the banking, I'm a bit behind the times!
I also have lots of loose change from DS's who have been buying on my paypal account, and then emptying there moneyboxes out and paying me with millions of coppers:rotfl:
