    Hallo everyone,

    Could I join please?

Already have a pot and started saving a couple of days ago. I estimate there is about £10 in there and I am going for £500 by Xmas.

It will be going as an extra overpayment on my mortgage.

    Welcom chrisaj & wildchild
Sue the boss will be along later to allocate you both numbers, have fun on here with us and enjoy saving. Sue will explain the rules and regs to you :D

:hello:evening everyone, have just put my first £5.00 in the pot since joining officially! I was going to just do that if I can each week , but have been thinking, I normally chuck all the small change I have into a pot then change it up at one of those coin machines, then give it to the kids. But have been thinking it would make a nice bonus in my xmas sealed pot.
Also I have been making a small profit with my washing as DH is always leaving coins in pockets.:D
Just need to decide xmas pot or kids?, - feel a bit mean, but most of the xmas money goes on them anyway!:rotfl:

    Hello all the savers!!!

Had to OPEN THE POT  as the washing machine did die on me,however, had £316 in it so £16 in new pot and the rest to buy new machine.

Do i put this amount next to my number in my sig? Wouldn't have been able to afford this without the lovely pot.

Please steer clear of the coinstar machines, they help themselves to 8% of your money, if you've got a large HSBC and an account with them, you can use their machine and the cash goes straight into your account :D

Yes please to putting the amount next to your signature it helps when we do the grand total at the end of the challenge. Well done on having such a great amount in your pot. Doesn't it feel good saving and having it there to fall back on :T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Another £3.35 in the pot today. Trying to get into the habit of dropping change in there at the end of every day. Still, it's building up quickly - over £15 in twelve days :j

grandmasam - shame you had to break into your pot, but it's great to have the freedom to go and buy something as expensive as that without worrying about breaking the bank :T

sparky0107 - I knew the coinstar machines charged you, but I had no idea it was that much! Thanks for the heads-up.
