    I'm still on the list on the first post after doing this last year so do I just keep that number for this year's challenge too?

    Went on a search for loose change in the car and managed to find aroud a £1 not much but all helps.

    However I did find some foreign paper money that my son had told me to throw away and I never did. He said it was only worth £2-3 and wasnt worth cashing in :mad: So out of curiosity I took it to the bank and asked them, took 20 or so mins to sort out but the result is

    - am now £18.32 better off. :T:rotfl::rotfl:

    I did tell my son but he says I could have it as he had thrown it out :A Will treat him to a c.d. he wants though and put rest in the pot.

    I wonder how much money is thrown out like this? he is guilty of doing it before he says - bet he doesnt do it again now though.

    A few hours away from home today - spent a little in a market (broad bean plants) and in a charity shop (DVDs, and a ball of purple wool for my log cabin afghan that I'm gradually knitting). Had a hot chocolate, ate my PACKED lunch, and came home on the bus with £2.70 to put in the pot.

    Thanks Sue! I've added £1.55 to my pot today. Every little helps! :)

    Edit: I'm using a terramundi pot and I'm just wondering how do you get the money out of it without smashing it?

    Alot of patience, a flat bladed knife, tweezers if there are a few notes in there and a glass of wine or beer to see you through it :D (can you tell i've sat and done this a few times)
