    Welcome sublime,
Sue, will be on later to allocate you a number, don't worry about not being able to put money in this month (it's a tight month this one with Crimbo :D), just start in earnest from January, and hopefully save enough to cover part of your crimbo 2010 :D

  • Hello all. Our pots are carrying on until April. Roughly £3 put in the pots yesterday, thats the first in for a little while but they are starting to get a little weight to them.

    Thanks for that.

It would be great to have christmas sorted next year. I'll keep it a surprise for my family, otherwise I'll be tempted to dig it out, at the end of every month. I'm trying to think of a good place to stash it.

Hello and a warm welcome to the thread pink_numbers. It's great to meet you! :D Enjoy yourself with us and have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1. If you haven't already done so then read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with any queries. If you can put your number on your sig it would be great.
Thank you Sue for updating me on the list so quickly.

I have been at home thinking what I could use as a sealed pot... I currently have three jars, two for putting in 20p and 50p coins in whenever I have them, and one for other coins that are left at the end of each week - I started this sytem last month. I'm thinking maybe I should just get one box to put all coins...

Does anyone else seperate their coins or does everyone just put everything in one?

I have a designated sealed pot but will only be putting my loose change in this (including any money leftover from my weekly spend allowance). I also have a teramundi pot in which Im saving 50 pence pieces plus a jar (that counts up the coins for you) in which Im saving my £2 coins :D. Come December 1st next year, I will be counting the proceeds of the £2 pot and the sealed pot. I think I might save the 50 pences until the pot is full !
