    Hi Everyone,

Well to-day has been a disaster. Just GRILLED some cakes thought I had oven on but it was the grill!!!

    Grilled cakes anyone??:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DH thinks I am getting really mean told him we were having cold chicken (left over from yesterday) with bubble and squeak also leftover from yesterday He suggested I went round the streets and picked up all the carrots that people had used for snowman noses then we could have carrots as well. Do you think I am taking this savings a bit too far??:DXLC2

Yes please, and no I don't think you're going too far. But tell hubby that was a good suggestion and if he wants carrots he could go instead off you...otherwise carrotless bubble and squeak! LOL! :T
I don't get to come on here too often.
    Too buzy money saving!
    :D
  • Yes Sparky, I also pick up goodies from Boots in the sale, and it sgould be dropping to 75% off now. The Disney sale is also good for things like pyjamas/dressing gowns and slippers in the sale. I've got all of my stocking fillers for next year already:j:j:j Plus most people's birthday pressies too:A
I know exactly how you feel Helen - Peter and Paul drive me bonkers too. :rotfl:I'm such a total spendaholic tho - every time my DFD gets glose I have to move it away as I've been out and over spent. VERY frustrating.

LC2 - good luck on the carrot hunt - maybe Reb could accompany you to keep you both out of too much trouble.

    Have a good day everyone.:A
PS: My annoying cold has nearly gone. yipppeee!!!:j

  • Just 18p today; no roadkill and because I've had no work all month, I can't spend much money so have no change. Considering going on the dole at this rate.
  • Hi everyone,

  • Ooh, what a dilemma! I was in Tesco and two guys were sweeping the floor - I spied a 1p - considered it - in full view of cafe - will I won't I ? Grab it !! What will they think ? It's a 1p ! - it's not like it's a 20p - oh, heck just leave it !!!

Duly took my tray, got served, turned round and there was now a scattered pile of dust interspersed with 2ps, 5s, 10s and 20s and I swear I saw a 50 .... I was sorely tempted to grab the lot, dust and all, and run !!

    30p today !
Finally Debt Free (£8k to zero) yay! :j :j

Yup, me too with the Boots stuff. I got myself my deoderant and smellies sorted for the whole year lol. Good job I like FCUK and Hackett, but for the money off, it's well worth it!
got some good stocking fillers sorted too.

Plenty of road kill from the Everton game for me, shared obviously with my diminiative partner. We split a very tidy £34.16.

Liverpool v Tottenham tomorrow. Hopefull a bit more for us then. If you see the match and there's a big bloke looking at the ground, it's me.....

    Hope everyone's ok.

Stunty. - off to eat a pack of mini egss. Mmmmmm.
