    Evening everyone

Blackwidowz - Sue will be along later to officially welcome you and give you a number - Hi and happy saving

I've put lots in the pot tonight, we have a piggy bank in the kitchen which we put into daily and then every few days I transfer it to the sealed pot [don't transfer it daily incase one of us needs change - caught out with that one far too often!!!] I transfered today and cos I was cleaning the shelf it sits on I found lots of change that we thought we'd potted but it had missed the piggy bank slot [its a high shelf] so lots went in the pot - its 2 thirds full now and really heavy so not long till its full and then we move onto the homemade pot [and I've got another 2 homemade pots ready for future use] I'm not going to open any of the sealed pots until nearer the time - Oct - when I do my Xmas shopping [Boots and Sainsburys] hopefully I'll beat my target, I can't wait - talk about wishing time away, it will be really nice to have money available especially for Xmas rather than borrowing from Pete to pay Paul, a concept I'm totally fed up with, anyway enough of my ramblings, catch you all in a couple of days

Dw and I had a fantastic weekend with out friends, came home with a sore throat and a cough . Also came home with 3 £2 coins, 1p in road change (they don't drop money in Shropshire! :o), also put about £4 and odd coinage into the pot.

Have a great day everyone, I'm on lates this week so I'll be back later to annoy you all :D

Sparky that would depend on which bit of shropshire you went to! That is my home county so I know it well. Let me know next time you go and I'll point you in the direction of the more affluent areas! :rotfl:

Nothing in the pot for me, but it's not a bad thing, it means I haven't bought anything to get any change, so no wasted pennies either.
  • £4.96 into the pot today.... can't wait to open this baby! :D

Mad as I'm not normally like this in fact I'm usually so laid back I'm horizontal , o well irrtional I may be but it's not going to beat me!
