Ooh, what a dilemma! I was in Tesco and two guys were sweeping the floor - I spied a 1p - considered it - in full view of cafe - will I won't I ? Grab it !! What will they think ? It's a 1p ! - it's not like it's a 20p - oh, heck just leave it !!!
Duly took my tray, got served, turned round and there was now a scattered pile of dust interspersed with 2ps, 5s, 10s and 20s and I swear I saw a 50 .... I was sorely tempted to grab the lot, dust and all, and run !!
30p today !:T Next time just do it...give me the laugh off my life... please? :TI don't get to come on here too often.

Whenever I manage to save any money, such as my dad gives me a lift instead of a bus.. bus fare will go in
I am going to keep a little dairy with me, so i can write down any "mini-saves" when they happen and even if i dont manage to go through this every night, i shall use it as my little debt to the box dairy and pop it in every other day or soLearning to be 'good with money'0 -
Hiya DD,
We were in Shrewsbury and Telford, the road change was found in a pub in Shrewsbury, and I had my eyes to the ground all the time[/QUOTE]
Hey Sparky, I was born in Telford and lived there until 3 years ago before we moved to lovely Devon and my 3 children were born in Shrewsbury. Most of my family still live there so I often go back. I am due to go back in a week or two for a few days. Maybe I'll have to pop to Shrewsbury then.
I was in my office today when I spotted a woman bending down outside and I swear she picked up a coin and I so wanted to shout that she couldn't have it, it was outside my office so it must be mine! Never mind, I MUST be more observant in future.
Anyway, I digress, 90p for the piggie today. I think he thought I was starving him! Payday next Wed. so he'll get very fat next week I think.0 -
