got another one.....a sky box that's faulty that i was keeping for spares. Do i dump it, or put it to the charity shop for some other poor soul to hoard? :d

i've already taken a big bag of wool and loads of old knitting patterns to the charity shop.

(can't quite bring myself to get rid of the knitting needles though  No idea why.)

Whatever you get rid of, six months later you're certain to find a use for it. Except the pram. Possibly.

  • Spare backs to a sofa I haven't had for years, the obligatory wedding dress, roll top bit to a desk I no longer have, boxes full of Italian glass clowns that were my aunts and those are just the few things I could see should I brave the cold to go up there, I'll wait until the summer :)

KEEP THE PRAM!!!!! DD might want it for when she has nippers, they're massive but brilliant.

I havea junkload under OH's bed (books/DVDs/CDs) and I need to get rid. Why can I NEVER find a place that buys books.

Right....it's bin day here tomorrow and OH is off work. The Sky box is in a black bag and is in the bin outside. Yay!

OH is going to go to the dump if I get a pile together.

  • Do you have a homeless recycling bit at your dump? They would take the cutlery :)

... roll top bit to a desk I no longer have,

:rotfl: I have the 'hutch' bit from inside a roll top desk....the bit that is sectioned shelves for envelopes/paper etc.
