You are misguided in believing that people on benefits are happy to make private agreements and live happily ever after - of course some are and good luck to them! Sadly there are too many who are vindictive and either greedy or just plain selfish (either side, NRP or PWC). Where the NRP has failed to pay any maintenance despite it being the correct amount, and not due to any CSA error, then I'm afraid that they get all that they have coming to them. They have chosen to put themselves into the position of possibly losing their homes so I have no sympathy. Please read the post carefully, as I have in no way implied that I have no sympathy for those stuck fighting errors - this is entirely different.0

Hiya Blob - I'm a private case and have never had benefits from the state other than working tax credit, for a short period. I have an appeal pending through CSA and when arrears are enforced, they are due to me-and will be very welcome. The CSA or government have nothing to be gained by enforcing my ex's arrears, I understand that as a tax payer it is my right to have this service provided for me by the CSA. Thank goodness. I would not be able to fight the NRP's decision to avoid paying child support via legal channels.
We all have stories to tell, but I think it is unfair to assume that the majority of PWC are all on benefits and that the Government have a stake in arrears owed.
Its just sad that all of us out here in these situations can't just simply agree to look after our kids without involving anyone else.0 -
Partner had a bit of a breakdown last night due to the presure that the CSA are putting on us, suppose it is one way to try to get to me, but it wont work! She has now worked out how much will be paid out in the event of her death! It must take a very nice and careing person to drive someone to this point, hell the kids are not even hers!!!0

Heard tonight that the CSA are going for a Sale Order in Court on the House. The figures that the solicitor uses show that they will not get the money that they want so this will prove nothing, with the exception of turning the children against their mother. Chalk up another on tothe CSA!
The only plus side is that they have still got to win in Court and they have already admitted that this is doubtful! So it will be a further waste of public money, that is the tax payer to those of us that work!0 -

They have got to win in court first
Chin Up
Put them charge of illegal immigration as they are hopeless at child support .They probably split more families than care for them0 -
Thanks for this, but it is not my chin that has to come up it is the other halfs, she dont want to get married any more and regrets the day that she got involved with me, as it is her money and home that they are taking! Sorry trying to take, as Kellogs said the solicitors will throw it back at the CSA, the word "Really" comes to mind!0

Seems the CSA want to talk, I think that they now understand that the Law is against them and that even they cant go against that sise of target!!
Even their solicitors are now shall we say a little reserved in taking action against me!0 -
