    "standard electrical tariff" npower.
thats the only info i have.

there is no set time i use hot water.
when i want shower i put it on. diff times all the time.

That is presumably their most expensive tariff. Switch.

    Is it an electric shower?
If so have you switched it on at the mains before you use it?
You are probably paying 30% more than you need to for your electricity.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • ive only had one bill so far and it was very very very low.
ill wait till next one to see how much on average it works out per month.
it probably is an elec shower as i hvae no gas bill.
yes i put it on at mains to use of course, ive just turned the auto timing system off.

Electric showers have their own heaters, nothing to do with your tank.

  • i do not not know if my shower is electric, all i know is when i put the hot water on,
the tank under the sink gets hot, and hot water comes out of my shower and kitchen sink tap. simple as that.
  • Does your shower connect to your bath taps?
    :A

  • no idea, when i switch hot water on with two diff switches, hot water comes out of every tap in the apartment.
Hot water only comes on with two switches (plumber confirmed this). Its all connected to the thing under the sink, surely.

Can you post a pic of your shower?

No, actually, do you turn your bath taps on to get your shower working?
    :A

  • I have no bath. I have only a shower nozzle/head in a cubicle. I have a small sink in bathroom.
The "bathroom" only has shower and small sink, no actual bath.
