I can't use these disposables myself - they slice up my face something awful - but I'll put them in the cupboard for giftgiving.
gifts for your masochist friends no doubt?! But seriously though cheap razors should be ok if you use plenty of (free) shaving oil with them.0 -
hi suziewuzie, i shop at the hanley stoke on trent boots store too and i bought some of the 85p razors, the points werent put on my card so SA went somewhere and came back in what seemed like ages and said that they had been put on manually with no explanation. this was on the first day of the offer so i guess they are getting wise.
how do you find the hanley store? sometimes you can find some bargains and get some really nice SA's but sometimes there is nothing and some real jobsworths there, do you agree?0 -
Yesterday I tried to exchange some batteries I had bought at Woking Boots. They wouldn't allow me to do the exchange without the original receipt. Apparently, it's new Boots policy.0

Can anyone help me? I bought 2 botanics 5 min hair masks on bogof with my parenting voucher thinking they both would be free but was charged £2.50. Also got voucher from ACM for free wetwipes. As they were on 3 for 2, I bought 3 thinking I would only be charged for 1 but got charged for 2. Can anyone explain what has happened please?0

I got some boots parenting vouchers through the post over the weekend, very strange as I've had the vouchers before, as I applied when I was pregnant. my twins are now 8 months old and I've just recieved a second set! Not complaining though, lots of freebies in the little book of treats. Will have to go to the big boots over the weekend and see what I can get! Any tips on what to get?0

Re the Woking Boots store, I find them to be rude in there anyway!
I went in last week to use some of my vouchers and I went to the Indian lady who is always on the tills (avoid her she isn't the politest lady I have ever come across) and she read every single one of my vouchers carefully and looked back at everything I bought. She used them all cos I had bought correct items, but I had handed her a '75 extra points' coupon when you spend over £10 which she took, but then when I handed over my double points coupon she binned the other one! Obviously I would have preferred to use the 75 points coupon! She didn't even say thanks or bye just dumped my card on the side and continued to look bored!!!!!
(In addition to that she handed me back my Bourjois £2off voucher without saying anything until I pointed out that the lipstick I had bought was correct. She just grunted and scanned it begrudgingly!)
Definitely an asset to Boots customer service!! :rotfl:0 -

I know the lady you mean! A right old misery. She is the only SA I have come across who has gone to the trouble of manually removing points from my card when I returned something. :rotfl:0 -
