Thanks, I will write a letter - I shake too much when I think about it - I would be hopeless trying to explain everything on the phone.
I got the SAs name and even some of the things she said to me. It was really quite shocking. I never complain and I hate confrontation so normally I would have just run away immediately. But since I took my lunch break (never happens) drove all the way to Boots and I had checked with CS already, I tried to reason with this woman. WOW, what a mistake.
The most incredible thing was the SA and another woman literally "ganging up" on me right in the store!
I have never experienced anything like this - or even seen or heard about such a thing happening. I am still shaking just typing this. My stomache has been in knots since it happened - 4 hours ago.0 -

Kylie - so very sorry to hear what a rough time this woman gave you. I can't add much more except to assure you that this woman and her 'friend' were so far out of line ... she should be brought up in front of her manager for that kind of behaviour. Agree that you should contact CS ... I also think you should phone the store and try to arrange to meet with the store manager to discuss. I know you said you were shaking and would find it difficult ... but it might be a good thing for them to see how badly this has shaken you up iyswim.
I hope you feel a bit better about it all tomorrow ... I know how upsetting it can be when people behave so rudely for no reason .. she'll get her come-uppance I'm sure
all the best, xxx0 -
Kylie, Sorry to hear about your ordeal today. If you're still upset, phoning would be the best thing to do. If its obvious you're upset when they talk to you they will take it far more seriously and possibly they will sendyou a giftcard by way of an apology (usually to get you back into the store again so don't forget to tell them that it put you off going there ever again!)
I hope you feel better soon! That SA and her colleague were bang out of order.0 -
Poor you Kylie - yes definately phone and tell them what happened - I would definately think that they would sent you a giftcard and the SA would be disciplined. Them you can spend the giftcard on treats and feel better.Start every day by telling yourself how beautiful and intelligent you are0

I used the Lancome sample voucher in Brent Cross Boots. The nice SA gave me two 5ml samples, one 15 SPF and one 30 SPF. In case anyone is headed there, both of the AC machines are out. Couldn't find a third.
Kylie: Sorry to hear of your experience. I, too, would recommend calling or writing to CS.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. Here's a solution. When you finish reading a page, just tear it out. You'll save money on bookmarks too!' -- Amanda's Handy Hints, Amanda Keller. :cool:0 -
There is currently a voucher in the ACM for 200 pts when you buy BOOTS eye drops, any drops except antibiotic ones. This range is currently BOGOHP.
I bought 2 eye brightening/soothing drops for £2.69 and £1.34HP. The glitch is giving you 200 pts for each item, so I paid 3p for 2 lots. Handy to have in in the hayfever season.0 -

Hope others have more luck in getting a decent size sample!0
