i know this is off topic so tell me if i need to go elsewhere but i was just wondering if someone could help me. -
i bought some hair straightners in october 2005, they are the nickyclarke gift set ones for £80. i bought them from boots.com and they were really good for a while until the ceramic coating started coming off even though i regularly cleaned them. i returned them to the store in march 06 for a straight swap which they did fine, however the same problem is occuring again already and i want to return them to the store for a refund on my card so i can buy some different ones from the boots website. i phoned my local boots who say that this should be fine but she didnt sound so sure so i am wary of going straight in and asking for a refund. it will be the second time returning, i have the reciept from the online order and i am still well within the 12 month guarantee.
do you think that they will give me the refund? i hope so because if i order the new ones online then i can get a much better deal ie. discounts, extra points etc
thankz in advance if any1 can help me0 -
Martfox, I don't see a problem with you recieving a refund, the other thing they might suggest is returning them to the online address but you should still get your refund.
I would approach the SA explaining that they are faulty and you would like your money back as it's your second pair, If in any doubt call cust services first to re-check, make sure you take note of the operators name and a referance/extention number incase instore refuse to refund.

Hi Folks
This is slightly off topic but I was wondering if somebody had any advice on how I could use the following stack of vouchers that I have to the best advantage, this weekend for the triple points. I will also check out the ACN for any further vouchers as I've not used the machine for at least 2 months. I'm aiming to buy a blood pressure monitor which will qualify for the £15 spend.
The vouchers I have are as follows:
Save 50% Boots Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor
200 points when you buy No 7 Stay Perfect Mascara
200 points when you buy any Hydrating Body Moisturiser, or Revitalising Body Lotion, or Nourishing Body Cream, from the Simple range
Save 1/3 on Boots NicAssist Range
Save £3 on Pulse High Strength Triomega Fish Oils 120s
BOGOF Boots High Strength Garlic Odour Controlled 30s
BUY FOR £3.55 Boots Feel the Difference Osteoassure
4 FOR 2 Period-Pain Cura-Heat
Do you have to use each of these for the products stated or is there any kind of 'glitch' that will enable me to use these vouchers on almost anything I choose? Just a query?
Thanks.0 -
My first found glitch! Be quick before its fixed.
I just did an order online, for some J'dore Perfume and Chanel Brushes and also this Braclet Lipstick by Dior (for going out on the town).
Any way, this went through at £0.00
Will keep you updated when order is recieved in the post, but my payment went through fine.

Got a small glitch going on with the tripple points.
If you purchase some thing from clearance that used to be over the £15 threshold for triple points i.e I added a 64mb camera memory card to my basket, original price £19.99 now £9.99 the basket is giving you triple points anyway.
At least i think thats right it's giving 119 points for £9.99 purchase
I know it's not a huge glitch but it could be of use to someone.
Apologies in advance if I have done my maths wrong
This also works with the bogof suncream, ambre solaire £8.49 + 1 free = 101pointsRunning total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan
