I think you either get one CLO voucher (the completely free one) or three (the free with other purchase one). After that, the ACM presumably thinks that you've had enough, and doesn't offer it anymore.

The Old Bag: you could try phoning/emailing them and explaining the situation, they should help. :)

Went in today just to get a mobile top-up for the triple points, and discovered that DH's card now gives a free cod liver oil voucher as well, but his one is completely free (not free with another purchase, like mine was).
How strange Dormouse, did exactly the same thing today too! Unfortunately none left, BUT did use the Parenting voucher for a free item from the Boots Sensitive Baby range and it was BOGOF. Also used my double points coupon and got about £2.70 back in points.

In emersons green Bristol they had a lot of Trevor Sorbie for straight and curly hair long shampoo and conditioner. Reduced down to £2.24 a bottle. But of course all shampoos and conditioner are on 3-4-2 so I got 3 bottles for £4.48.

Also they had loads of Lord of the Rings Two Tower DVD for £3.49 each

That was my lot today. As I am Boots addict and need to stop going.

Also I have had some sort reaction to some No7 Makeup and I need to return to of the same items. Always buy when offer. But have only just used the first one as I bought it just over a month ago. But the problem is the item I need to return was classed as a free one as I bought it when it was on 3-4-2 I feel a bit guilty returning it. As if I take the receipt in they will say you had free so tough.

Any thoughts or feelings on that?

Calley, you don't need your receipt if you are returning because of an allergic reaction. I've done this before and you can get a refund without one.

    Thanks for that.

I normally never break out but this powder has made my face go all red and horrible and made it felt like it was on fire. I have been using it up to a couple of weeks ago. Bought two new lots over the last month because of offers and now my skin is taking exception to it now :(

Do they just take your word for it or do they ask for proof. Because it happened the other day and of course my face has gone back to as normal.

Also a friend asked me about returning cosmetics. I said that you could not for health and safety reasons but I found on the website boots.com it says that as long as it was sealed they will take it back. But they said it has never been sealed in the first place. I told her she is just going to have to wear it. I am right or can she get her money back.

Not sure if this is of any interest to anyone, but yesterday we bought a Babydan highchair from Boots (what with triple points and 20% off all highchairs how could i resist...). anyway got the OH to check the points machine to make sure there werent any total spend points offers (there wasnt) anyway when he got back, i checked the receipt and low and behold those kind booties have given me the triple points, and 1500 extra "parenting club points". Does anyone know why? In total we got nearly 20 quids worth of points in that transaction...

Also a week ago i got a strange letter off the boots saying they had noticed i had tried to amend my parenting details and as i had been unable to do so they were compensating me with 500 adv. points!!! Anyway i hadnt tried to alter anything!!???? did anyone else get this?

Yes there was a voucher in with the parenting mailings for if you spent over x amount (cant remember what) you got an extra 1500 points so the system must remember you being a parenting club member and put them on automatically.

And yes i got a voucher for 500 points for the parenting club adjustment too, cant remember making any adjustments tho! lol

I took some SEALED cosmetics back last week - No 7 tinted moisturiser (I bought the wrong shade). Two assistants told me they couldnt refund as it was cosmetics. I pointed out that there was no way I could have unsealed it then sealed it up again. They then referred it to the No 7 lady, who was dealing with another customer. I got as far as saying to her "it's impossible to unseal this...." when she whipped the seal open in front of me!!! Oooops. To confuse matters further, she then said "what made yu unseal it". I replied that I hadnt, but that she just had. Much confusion later they exchanged it for the shade I wanted.

I couldnt do any more Bootsing that day, having drawn so much attention to myself :rotfl:

No-one has ever asked me for proof of a reaction, just be firm and say you stopped using it immediately, that is why you are back to normal. I took back a max factor foundation and told the SA it made my face itch, I had used it twice and it was obviously open but because of the "reaction" thing I got my money back.....no receipt

I think it was if you spent over £75 you got 1500 points
