Thankyou for the encouragement girls :A. It was never an issue that i could not pay my way, just that i would spend it on other stuff and not pay my way.:eek::eek:

Si its more of a watching my spending i need to concentrate on. Also cutting back on wastefuls like my bubble bath, ive gone from pouring it it, to two capfuls and now one capfull. I am also starting to look at false aconomey things. cheapest is not always best. But it is in a lot of cases too. So this is work in progress, trial and error, i'll post my findings.

I would just like to thank all who have helped and continue to encourage me. I will you all health and happiness for 2010 and of course smaller debts. :A everyone of you's

    Hi Bloo,
Hope things still going OK. At least the snow's gone....& worse still, all that ice.....just walking from the car to the office door felt like I was auditioning (v badly!) for Swan Lake! We went ahead & ordered the new kitchen. Would have slapped it on credit only a couple of years ago, but we've had it on 'Buy now pay in 12 months interest free' & we both pledged to scrimp every single penny we can so that in a year's time, we can pay that bill & not have to put it on a loan. Had to smile about your bubblebath calculations........when we were kids & you got bubblebath, it always said ' Pour 1 or 2 capfuls under running water', now it always seems to say 'POUR under running water', hence you use 3 or 4 times as much & have to keep buying new. I poured a load in the other night & then thought this is stupid...there's enough for about 4 very bubbly baths there! Anyway, it's all systems go getting this kitchen money together. We are ebaying like mad. People will buy ANYTHING, it seems to me. My husband has sold a broken MP3 player (he made it very clear it's broken) for £16, an ancient old mobile phone for £9 and I sold a phone charger that was going to go in the bin & an empty perfume bottle.....presume to a collector. Loads more clearing out to go & we're taking the line that every penny counts! Good luck for Feb x

Hiya All, Been away far too long.

So update is. All going well (well no worse) Acumulated no more debt. On the whole my head is above water but i bob under on occasion but not through overspending. Just through, bills coming together etc. But I am now able to juggle and pay them, instead of having no idea where the money coming from because i have spent it. Just had car mot in February which cost me £260 but I got it cutting from here and there.Ii did not have to borrow it. Thats a first. Current Account going well and have not been overdrawn since starting this thread. But have had to transfer money to my current account, my other accounts have very little in them at the moment but I am happy with the situation.

My distance learning course is going well, just completed the first unit, another three to do. Just about reding to sign up for my NVQ level 3 at work.

    How is everyone else doing
