thanks guys, and for your wise counsel also. I'm looking forward to trying! Have been looking at work policies today and timings, but just going to try and see what happens, no guarantees of course.

moam - sorry I haven't replied to your pm yet, I will do, just didn't have the time last night.

Better go...going to look at the Christmas market stalls on the south bank tongiht with a friend, and then have some food. Have cut wheat out again after my blood test, feel human again already!

Rach - I'm so pleased for you xxxxx

Anyone for a HHC - I have a few dots that need erasing (not the woofit variety) before I end up having to do dot to dots on a daily basis.

    530 until 6pm anyone xx

Rach - lovely news, thanks for thinking to update as well. I was worrying about you today.

Scary amount on again and will have until at least middle of December. I spent today intervening in a colelction of juvenile bickering and then I picked the boys up from school .

The littles are supposed to be tidying the playroom so they can put their decorations up. Not a lot appears to be happening though.

Need to make myself do something worthwhile. HHC 5.45-6.15 anyone?

Also need to try and get hold of a PS2 box, we got DS1 a preowned one for xmas but there is no box with it. no luck on freecycle so will have to ask around.

When my four were little everything was second hand and their friends were jealous because bikes, scooters etc. had slight scratches where Father Christmas brought them down the chimney.
Nothing came in boxes as FC set everything up for them!

Good news rach, fingers etc crossed for you

. I know there will be challenges ahead but we've decided to just go for it and not be too scared of the consequences. DH said 'let's get on with it before I change my mind!'.

That's top news Rach! Here's hoping it'll happen quickly - and do have lots of fun trying ;)

That's great news rach! He's clearly been giving it some thought, so it may well just have been a bit of a wobble as part of the process.

So should we start knitting :D:D:D

It's cold here... and I have to go out soon... I'd rather curl up in bed with a couple of hot water bottles and a book. And I need to block some time for research and writing too...

I'm trying to sort out my phone tariff so I get free national calls, as then I'll be able to work from home with no issues (there's no way I can get decent broadband any time soon, so can't use any kind of phone over the internet solution)... but I keep getting put on hold which then takes me back to the menu  so I've now sent an email, but need to check my contract to see whether I can change supplier...

Miss H - sorry to hear about the family problems, ours is fairly volatile as well with family events normally having to be staged over 2 evenings to avoid ructions  Too much madness and examples to bore you all with but chin up sweetheart and do what feels right for you, your oh and your children xx

Off to walk the pooch, have a shower and settle down to watch my boys progress to the semi-final of the carling cup - we'll that's the plans anyways! :D
