    Afternoon everyone.

    V. cold here today - first frost of the winter. Have just checked the Metoffice and it looks those of you north of Yorkshire are in for heavy snow tonight....

I am flying but am slightly off piste at the moment. My boudoiur had morphed into a terrible mess for some reason so I'm sorting some of that out but I'm about to start the kitchen now. I've also got the washing machine AND the tumble drier on. Not like me, but I didn't get all the washing done last weekend and like topsy, it's grown!

    Right, kitchen here we come.

I did manage to do some flying yesterday just not in the living room but at least i can cross of some bits from todays list.

Going to post and then start a HHC if anyone wants to join in.

Monday- Living room, hall and stairs
Clear floors of clutter and vacuum them
    Wipe sofas
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move.. I don't want any hurt backs!
Dust and deweb all those corners and electrical appliances and shelves.. etc
Clear mantel and put back only what should be up there!
    Wipe and water plants

Tuesday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
    mop/vacuum the floors
    wipe the worksurfaces
Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards!
Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!
Clear and wipe a shelf or window sill
Wipe the table and replace the cloth if necessary.
Clean the oven and hob.. :D

Not as much crossed off as i had hope oh well HHC here goes.
  • Well I have still been flying daily, but with illness and the combined 'everything else' that comes with the territory at this time of year, I haven't posted or kept up. I hope you are all well :o

I still feel like poooooo but the motivation from my DH walking into the dining room today and thinking it looked bigger :j is good enough for me - just shows what a bit of decluttering and reorganising of furniture can do

Am I allowed requests?? Today I tacked the utility room, boy did it need it!!:eek: Now, obviously I should be counting it as kitchen, but somehow it doesn't get done in the normal kitchen routine  could perhaps we occasionally add the word utility to kitchen and dining room tasks pretty please :o
