Mudbath - I won't be joining the card list either. I really hate writing them so will just wish everyone merry xmas on here.

Wish I could do the elf thing but one DS is too old & the other too cynical:rolleyes: - oh well will have to wait for grandchildren - long wait hopefully

I hope no-one is offended by me not doing the Christmas cards. This year we've decided to limit our cards to family and close friends. We're then going to make a donation to the hospice where I work as a Christmas Greeting to work colleagues and other friends - I hope that's all right with you all. It goes without saying that I'll be wishing each and every one of you a happy, peaceful and smiley Christmas xxxxxx

Porky (our very large stray puss) is being collected by the rescue centre in about 10 minutes... and I want him to stay...

Pigpen - awwwwwwwww not like you to be sensible!!:rotfl:. Good idea about the nativity - it makes you very reasonable and mature (not forgetting it helps you out!!!)

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It's brilliant isn't it. My DS was invited to play at his friends... he said he couldn't go because he wanted to get home :rotfl:. Walking home he said it would be so cool if Jinky has written that they didn't have to do homework. Well guess what Jinky HAD written - no homework (it was only reading and they do it every night usually), a new DVD to watch (£1 in the charity shop) and some decorations to make. They have massive smiles on their faces. Only problem is Stripes keeps trying to eat the reindeer!

Going to put tea on and do another 60 in 60 xx
  • I've just recommended DD2 to you all. I know you'll all be gentle on her as she finds her way to her own routine.

    Thanks for being here,
