I thought the 3.3% was a special rate offered to early adopters only?

Doesn't look like it according to your link in post #200.although it is a 2 year ISA.

Ah yes for over 30k. A higher rate for lower balances was offered earlier in the year but as usual Lloyds didnt offer it to me :(

Edit: If you are looking at a 2 year fix then the Lloyds one can be beaten by Halifax at 3.5% for example.

I have just spoken to Lloyds, they tell me they have just revised their rates and when I phoned there may have been a 1 year ISA available, but they now don't have a 1 year ISA, the info on your link is the correct info.

Not really sure about a 2 year one at the moment unless a great rate comes along, also my FRISA with Lloyds does not mature until May 19th, and I have already deposited this years £5100 into it so that everything is ready for a swop in May.

Thanks for that KTF, so highest rate is 3.3% or are there any special offers for existing Lloyds FRISA?

If not glad I applied for the M&S fixed ISA...

Lloyds did offer a better rate to (selected) existing customers earlier in the year (I forget what it was now) but for people whose ISA is maturing now only the 2 year option is available.

I will probably move my matured ISA the Halifax as its still 2 years but at a better rate.

As for this years allowance I am debating just keeping it in my Lloyds Vantage account as the 4% (3.14% after basic tax) its earning is better than most of the easy access offers at the moment and then open an ISA next March when the better rates come along to soak up people who havent opened them yet.

Wow that was close but all seems to be going as planned...

...I sent off my transfer form to M&S 27th March then payed into my current First Direct ISA 6th April. Funds reached my account 8th April. Received a letter today from M&S stating they sent off transfer request to First Direct 1st April and as of today, 9th April, I am unable to log in to my First Direct ISA. Looks like they have begun the transfer process already. That is incredibly quick and I was very close to not managing to deposit my 2010/11 tax year subscription before the transfer by a single day!

Here's hoping it has actually been accepted because I've just realised they could have noted down the balance to transfer before my latest deposit! That would totally suck.

I'm glad to my Halifax ISA is now with M&S in their FRISA at 4%. And all done in 15 days from me posting the transfer, so to their credit (and loss ;)) they were very quick as were M&S.

But I just missed the boat with being able to get part of the LTSB variable ISA (after maturity of the FRISA on 31/03/10) into M&S before the rate dropped. I suppose if I'd sent it off a bit sooner it would have happened but I wasn't sure if the account numbers would change, but they didn't :(.

Anyway I've sent application and transfer off to Northern Rock for their 3 year Stepped ISA. So we'll see how good they and LTSB are between them.
