Woops, just realized i haven't actually posted my target for this month. I am going for £600 this month
It seems a lots, but I am going to include all food, house-stuff, supplements (vitamins, shakes etc). The theory is that I can't hide my spending somewhere else. I will also include all the Xmas food that we will eat, not the ones given as pressies....at least that the plan! We are 3 adults until the 12th when DS1 will be home from Uni, we will then be 4 adults for 4 weeks ...just watch the food disappear!!
Had Mr T delivery yesterday...I hate substitutions! Had to go out later to the nearest T-Metro to get a few of the things that didn't come with the van...had to get some diesel too as empty light was on! Will fill up on Friday @ Mr Ts as have 5p off/litre voucher.
Cheered myself up by getting two jumpers at M&Co in their sale - used birthday money, so doesn't count as a spend!
Also ordered two ducks for Christmas dinner...having two boys with bottomless pits (nearly-20 student and 16 rugby player) means one is hardly enough. Also we can all have either a breast or leg, and the rest kept to have with pancakes and hoisin sauce the next day....or more if people aren't peckish!:rotfl:
Right, off to knock back the bread and get some twinks in the oven while the 4 loaves rise...how I will get them into the freezer goodness knows!
Looking like today will be my first NSD too, one way of cutting the expenditure!

Now by my reckoning that equates to about £150+ per month which is more than our usual GC Budget:eek::eek::eek: and the insurance will only pay possibly up to 25%
Back from Asda now where I got advent calendars :T;), 2 spray deodorants, 2 tuna pasta bake mixes & 2 bun trays for mince pie making which all came to £12.90 so have updated my signature accordingly. No more spending will be done until the weekend now0 -
first no spend day for me!!! wheyhey!! would have had one yesterday but needed loaf, so only spent £1.05 in the last 2 days(OH bought that as i wouldnt have paid that, however he did redeem himself by getting 8 rolls free at the garage when getting petrol last night - he's learning), tally for this week is £41.08 so have £18.92 to do until sunday, which i think i might just manage, only thing i need to get is diluting juice, am really chuffed to bits as i would have just popped into corner shop and ended up spending a tenner on juice and bits that i didnt need but refuse to now and will wait until tomorrow and get when in town, skintbint x

Please put me down for £280 again for December.
Very pleased as came in under budget for November after a disaster in October.
Will allocate a separate budget for the Christmas lunch as we are contributing a huge turkey to a whole family meal.0 -

Good evening everyone,
just about to sit down and have a look at some new recipes. Seem to repeat myself quite a bit on meal plan.
Had a no spend day today and remembered to take soup out of freezer for tonights dinner so all is organised with little effort.
Trying to make a bit of space in freezer (only four drawers) for Christmas food stuffs. Like to have nice things on hand in case friends call in unexpectedly. This year I plan to have a lot more hm goodies rather than picking them up at M&S.It takes a long time to eat an elephant and I'm doing it a bite at a time!!!0 -
