Good idea, but do not send cards to all these companies as they are all the same.

    Star Controlled Parking Ltd
    Central Parking Services Ltd
    Central Parking Services (Middlesex) Ltd
    Central Parking Management Ltd

All are/were operated by father and son Mark & Damien Haywood of

11 Stiven Crescent, South Harrow, Middx. HA2 9AX

Dissolving and rising from the ashes appears to be provoked by debts and CCJ's.............!

    You could also add:-

"For all appeals concerning this card, telephone 01382 227820"
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Here is another PPC that has just popped up on the Pepipoo forum:-

    A.S. Securi-T
    Office 70
    151 High Street
    Southampton
    Hampshire
    SO14 2BT.

This company insists on calling its toilet paper a "Penalty Charge Notice".

Well that's one law broken for a start.

I may send one to Civil Enforcement Ltd for all the free toilet paper they have sent me this year. (And their colleages from Newlyn)

    Thanks guys.

Is a this addy I found with a Google search, the right addy for CEL?

EDIT: thanks to HO87 for real addy for CEL! Now in first post.

And is there a different addy we can use to 'spread the love' to Newlyn?!

Many of these addresses are registered offices and bear no resemblance to the actual operating bases of the companies concerned. PCN-UK, whose given address is in Bridgend when they actually operate from offices in Chorley, Lancs, being but one example. I think if we are to demonstrate our true seasonal respects that we should send the cards to their real addresses not the covers many of them use.

By the by, Chorley and nearby Preston seem to be the homes to an inordinate number of parking-related companies. Can anyone offer an explanation?

    CIVIL ENFORCEMENT LTD
    DBH House
    Carlton Square
    Nottingham NG4 3BP

According to my records CEL's current address is:

    Horton House
    Exchange Flags
    Liverpool
    MERSEYSIDE
    L2 3PF

According to ICO information they also trade under the names of "Trafficguard", "CE-Service" and "Creative Car Park". They "moved" from their address in Nottingham in 2007 although it would seem that they are owned by Creative Parking Solutions PLC of 5, Percy Street, Office 4, London, W1T 1DG.

As for Newlyn PLC it would depend on what part of the company you wanted to "give your love to". According to publicly available records their "credit" wing is based at:

    180-188 Northolt Road,
    South Harrow,
    Middlesex,
    HA2 0LT

Whilst their bailiff operation appears to be based here:

    59, Clarke Road,
    Northampton,
    Northants,
    NN1 4PL

Interestingly, Newlyn's registered office is also the registered office for another PPC favourite - G24.

This may or may not be a "cover address" but the company is definitely based in Southampton. Hanging by their finger nails though, they survived one proposal to strike off in March 2009 and are now subject of another. Will this be another "phoenix" operation?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

That area of England is also a hot-spot for those scam companies that contact small businesses trying to sell them advertising space in non-existent booklets and wall calendars. They even claim that these products are somehow linked to the emergency services to give them an air of legitimacy.

    Love it!

Well worth a second class stamp.

There's one company who really deserve just such a gift. And it HAS to feature mince pies on the front!

But they won't be delivered to the premises. They will get a card from Royal Mail saying that there is postage to pay and they will have to visit the sorting office to pick up the letter and pay the fee. They might ignore all those RM cards, but a "genuine" letter, containing an actual cheque might be waiting for them. Will they take that risk?

If they are told there are hundreds of letters awaiting collection, I think they might well be willling to take that risk.
