Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.

Back to school today:) The roads are incredibly slushy and full of pot-holes.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly. Forum Ambassadors are not moderators and don't read every post. If you spot an illegal or inappropriate post then please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com (it's not part of my role to deal with this). Any views are mine and not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.com.0

Guess who's walking.
Big boots.
By the way, on the subject of the time taken getting into London, my OH just phoned me (about 10 mins ago) to say that there's a fire on the line into London, so he was on a bus to get to a tube (at 10.30am!) - going to be a late start for him!
Made me very glad I wasn't trying to fight my way to/from London to get back by 12. :eek:0 -
Might be an idea to make this a sticky.0

Welcome New Member.
Hope you find loads of topical debate enlightening.
I would prefer this is not a sticky as it is not topical for the forum.
Probably better off in one of the discussion forums such as the pub:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

Hi New Member,
One of the benefits of this thread is that it is visited and posted on regularly. In our doing so, we keep some of the less economic banter off the rest of the board. If, as it has so far, it remains popular, people will continue to post here and it won't need a sticky as it will spend most of its time on the front page. Hope you enjoy posting here. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Thanks for the welcome. I have had a good look around the boards the last couple of days and I am enjoying it. Hopefully we can enjoy some interesting discussions over here on the housing boards.0 -

Just driven to the storage unit, 10 miles, along the coastal road. Bit foggy here, but 3 miles up the road and it's bright sunshine bearing down on golden beaches0
