Both High Schools shut......all boys are very pleased.

Especially youngest who was at the stage of hiding under the seats last night due to being so stressed about going in and having a fun day today.

I still had to get up at the same blooming time though to check the lists! And then re checked different lists to make sure and finally believed it when I got texts from both schools confirming the closures.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Cold here, but no snow. Have 2 boxes to be collected and just received text from the couriers saying eta is 7-10am, so it looks at the moment like the move's on for today. Already cleaned/bleached/scrubbed the bathroom this morning :)

I'm not really into shoes..as long as they are cheap, look nice and are comfortable, then they do me.

Mind you, have had to lower the size of the heels as I have got older..the size of the heels in my youth were amazing and I walked everywhere in them, along with stockings and a mini skirt! Now, a sensible heel if walking a long way, jeans and absolutely no stockings are the order of the day.:rotfl:

I've never seen so much snow here, it was a blizzard last night. It's six inches deep. Has anyone noticed how everytime they discuss global warming on the news, the temp falls 18 degrees?

Are you going to make a snowman tomterm?

We're going out shortly to make our snowman and have a snowball fight with socks on our hands...I love these sort of days as it takes me right back to my childhood.

Really hating this moving lark, which is why I'm here, skiving. Parcels collected, couple of items in the car and I'm kn4ckered already!

Blimey, didn't realise it was this bad.

Drivers trapped on the A14 not far away from me overnight, lorries not being able to get across the Orwell Bridge due to it being so icy and snowy and having to be rescued by tractors, the main turn off for my village being completely blocked due to snow and ice (plus an accident)...it's going to be a nightmare if I need to get out of here and get any shopping.

Nope, think it is a snowman and snowball day for sure.

No need, just pop over to Old Style with just the dust from your hoover, one teaspoon of flour and an egg and you can feed your family for a week!
