!5 years younger. I can understand that relationships break down but it was the no discussion and matter of fact way that he went about it. I do wonder if it is a mid life crisis/ breakdown.

I know he has been very stressed, small construction firm. Added to that the 21 year old son has just taken on a big mortgage ( HPI, don`t you just love it ) and I know bro-in-law feels responsible for that getting paid via sons wages.

The way he is acting makes me feel that it`s some sort of running away from everything.

My sister's best friend's husband has left yesterday (his wife, not my sister!), they have a 2 year old and she's six months pregnant. He's been having an affair with some woman at work and has said that he couldn't face being there christmas day with their families pretending he was happy. She had no idea he was that unhappy.

As for the weather, it looks cold from where I'm sitting, although being wrapped up in my dressing gown and blanket I'm snuggly warm. I know I should get dressed on my days off, but I'm so much warmer this way.

Only problem is that the same delivery driver has been bringing my online xmas pressie shopping, for the last two weeks. Every time I go to the door I'm in my dressing gown and blanket, I think he thinks I don't have a job yet spend my days internet shopping!

    We have lots of snow!

Oh and Christmas tree is now up, along with a Christmas wreath....couldn't find the baubles to go on the tree, so youngest went around the house and found other things to hang on there and for the fairy, we used a little Piggin' fabric teddybear.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Well will have to see what the morning brings..but if it carries on like it is now, it could well be.

Think I am going to have to cancel our DVD night round my brothers tonight, the road outside is already very eek and coming back later tonight when it is also freezing could be rather pushing it.

It is really really cold here. We rarely get snow because we are on a peninsula. Or something like that, meteorology isn't my strong point.

Funnily enough I left my husband just before Christmas too. I think it is the idea of spending one more holiday pretending everything is wonderful.
