LIR, you would probably say Hannibal Lector has his good points.

Mind you, it wouldn't be true..........

I understand he had good teeth and a strong appetite.
  • It's too cold in my kitchen to get out from under my blanket and play with my new kitchen toy that came today.

It got delivered today and was sooo excited but couldn't use it as one of the plug pins was all bent out of shape. Fortunately I found a use for MrGeeves1980 and his big oaf like man hands. He felt quite proud of himself cos he'd fixed something and is usually the most unpractical man ever!

    I'm ever so sweet too.

You are fine by me and one of my favourite people on here.

Though that may not be much of a recommendation:rolleyes:

Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit low Sue. I also find Christmas really difficult these days, but we have put the decorations up and I keep trying to pin the smile on my face when the kids are home.

Seems like the right time for a joke or two, but I can't think of any:o

I did, however, find this on another thread earlier:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io00QGNNTEE

which had me laughing heartily, so I thought I would post it here and see if it helped.

It's one of those evenings when even chocolate didn't seem to do the trick - but I laughed at the vid until the tears ran down my face.

No snow here in Wild West Wales - just damp and drizzly.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I love all this stuff that people get up to in their front rooms and post online.

:) I have stacks of lovely blankety things, but yeah, a cuhion would have been nice. I don't usually ''do'' slippers, but DH bought me some ghasty but very comfy, slippers from Skippol airport, slipper-clogs and I'm trying to wear them.

Can I swap the chocs for just some alcohol?

What I'll do is set up in there with some blankets and get the animals settled. Nothing like a couple of cats a dog to keep you warm. And one of the cats is the Christmas cat: loves the decorations and tree, sits for hours, enraptured by pretty sparkly things. we leave a box with some tinsle in it for her, and she gets in and luxuriates in it, draping it al over herself :D
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:LIR, your cats really do me in.
