I don't care how it is done

But her kids will be grown up before you lot make a decision.

    I like things decided.

Also and in case anyone hasn't noticed, I am a bit of a take charge kind of person.

OK, but to decide you've got to have everyone on board! :D

If people are edgey about security, and they have right to be, I have put a potential solution forward....

I think we need more people too, many hands searching make light ebay finding work...

Christ ws, everyday I'm in charge of thousands of pounds, & very personal data- do you think I could afford to drink this much strongbow if I was trustworthy????! :D

Only joshing of course- I am happy to do anything to help, obviously, but only if others are comfortable :)

As for ebaying- I have nothing to flog, the last few bits of rubbish went last Autumn for the Xmas fund (to buy more rubbish.... :rotfl:)

But any other way to help- I would be more than willing.

Probably my best asset for the cause is my skin-flinty-ness. I am the broke chavster who holidays for 6, for a week, for approx £600....

...so whats the desired location Sue- PM me if you want, I'll don the sheepskin coat and sovereigns, you'll 'av the best deal this side of Walford m'luvv :D

Now that is a good idea.

Sue could your parents holiday with you a second time, somewhere else, if SJ can find a deal for that sort of price somewhere convenient?

Ok where are we up to now?

    We need a grand.

We have three months to raise it. Don't tell me it is less, I am the eternal optimist.

Have we decided to use my ebay account or post all our junk to Sue? ( I like you to feel you have a choice. BTW Sjay do you still regard me as not typical as a driven career woman?).

You have about half a dozen posts to agnosise...........

My vote is for Sue, if she can handle it?

Partly, I think she will then feel she's earned it, doing us a favour which will allow her to enjoy it more. Sue's a bit proud, have you noticed ;)
    Sue?

No, you are now the reincarnation of my area manager- can I spit on you? :D

 :rotfl:You are certainly driven, and actually, it is refreshing and you have (or rather, this threads contents this evening have) given me a kick up the bum regards some projects I had half committed to, but then not bothered with :A I needed an injection of enthusiasm

ETA: Oi! Area manager- realistic goals?! We don't need a grand- 5 days in the right location, school hol time, can be done for £7-800 easy

    Sue?

She probably won't want to dish out her name and address either. Have it all sent to her local post office. They can open a warehouse.

    I need an honest answer.

Are you all abjectly skint or just completely cynical?

I need you to believe you can do this.

    Talk is cheap.

Are you willing to do this or would you all rather go back to Treliacs answer?

    Think about this seriously.

It is why I didn't ask for money.

We need a grand. I think we can do it easily but if you lot are going to worry yourself to death about whether your brass candle stick is safe, I'd rather send Sue a check for my share and move on.

It sort of comes down to faith.

Either way, it has been an education

I don't know what others think about turning the convo away from sue- I'm half getting the sense she might appreciate it at this point (feel free to correct!) :)

But, what do others want to do that might take a bit of encouragement / enthusiam / creative input from others? What projects do we have in mind that might require a bit of motivation / creative ideas / general support or inspiration? Could be community or personal? Might be a nice subject to start a new thread on when we get round to it- rather than chocolate, sex & nostalgic (but rubbish) music < and yes I'm guilty of all 3 :A
