    I need an honest answer.

Are you all abjectly skint or just completely cynical?

I need you to believe you can do this.

    Talk is cheap.

Are you willing to do this or would you all rather go back to Treliacs answer?

    Think about this seriously.

It is why I didn't ask for money.

We need a grand. I think we can do it easily but if you lot are going to worry yourself to death about whether your brass candle stick is safe, I'd rather send Sue a check for my share and move on.

It sort of comes down to faith.

Either way, it has been an education

    Cynical. :)

I think we can do it too, I just don't think your proposal without tweaks is winning people over :)

edit to qualify: I'm being glib and you don't deserve that, but the thing is I feel strongly that now you've got us stirred up its got to be what Sue wants and what people feel comfortable with.

I feel confident Sue will know where I'm coming from with this, not from meaness.

Just finally caught up! You guys can almost post quicker than i can read :p

All this is very nice and hope it all works out but i think the more important long term thing is that Sue is able to get the help she is entitled to.

That doesn't sound like it's happening and would make a big difference all of the time and not just a week away.

I think we need a entitlement expert on board to inform Sue (in private) what she is and isn't entitled to and how to get it.

I know they don't make it easy for people and loads lose out on what they should get unless they know what they are entitled to.

No, you are now the reincarnation of my area manager- can I spit on you? :D

 :rotfl:You are certainly driven, and actually, it is refreshing and you have (or rather, this threads contents this evening have) given me a kick up the bum regards some projects I had half committed to, but then not bothered with :A I needed an injection of enthusiasm

ETA: Oi! Area manager- realistic goals?! We don't need a grand- 5 days in the right location, school hol time, can be done for £7-800 easy

The £800 ish will do 2 weeks with my parents discount! A week is around £500 ish but they can get extra discounts for having 2 weeks. Plus we find two weeks recharges the batteries more as it takes most of the first week to settle the two youngest down and get them enjoying things.

Once there, I use my normal weekly money for spending.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I am fine with ideas. As long as they don't get in the way of mine.

It has amazed me how little belief people on here have in themselves.

Rightly or wrongly, I believe in me.

I didn't realise none of the rest of you did.

    OK, thats better value IMO.

Sue: do you think you can handle the ''stuff'' if we set up a PO box or something?

I'm moving soon - Sue if you were able to come round and sort / pack I am sure there is enough stuff that we don't need any more you could take away to ebay to make it extremely lucrative (you would have to contend with the Mrs wanting to keep it even tho we will never use it ever again just cos we paid for it but that is another story). Could also probably get my parents to do you mates rates on their holiday let in Devon.

PS only about 6 months after agreeing sale and purchase we exchanged today
    I think....
