Oh, sorry I was under the impression that this was a 'nice person' thread...

"This is a thread for nice people who wish to talk nicely to each other about the subjects of house prices, the economy and recession.

All discussion of previous emnities, things poster a said to poster b on another thread that really narked them off weeks ago and they've bookmarked it, and similar, are BANNED. All references to exactly who poster a is and whether poster b actually used to post under a different name, are likewise BANNED."

Funny how you have vague images of people based on their usernames. Some obviously intentional eg Hamish as the archetypal Scot, others probably accidental eg Dithering Dad as Michael Crawford in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em or chucky as something connected to vomit.

    Hypocrites?

    Hypocrites?

    How so?

I fail to see where I either discussed who any poster was (I assume DD wasn't actually Michael Crawford!!?? nor chucky actually made of vomit) or any other name they had been known under.

    So no rules broken.

    Phew.

You had me really worried there.

    Edited: Just seen your link.

OK, mea culpa, Harry. Or should I say Michael? ;)

As I understand you rather admire DD, try to take it as a compliment. :)

    yep.

If it weren't for worrying this whole board would know where we'd bought I'd apply for the show:D
No one would know...and there's only about 20 odd people who would guess and 80% don't watch telly as they are here.
    I would

In fact I will if you will.......

I am going to get the delicious Phil and luscious Kirsty to find me a rank but huge B+B or cliff top youth hostel in Margate in a couple of years time to turn into a swishy design studio/lost skills centre (subject to grant :o)
And you can all snigger at the batty London Lady buying a heap at silly money to run an arty farty whatsit non business....:D

Congratulations Carolt, I really admire you for the job you do. It is far more important than anything ninety percent of us on here spend our days at (with a very few notable exceptions). The only thing most of us are influencing is the choice of cakes in the works canteen.

    Did you buy the frock?
