Thanks charming monkey, I have spoken to Debtline-they told me to let them repossess and wait and see if solicitors chase as it may have been on a no sale no fee basis? That is if DHs BR tomorrow  doesnt mollify them

Northen Shock had the audacity to call DH today demanding a payment proposal and his accounts :mad::mad:

If they thought I was rude, I expect they got a shock when he told them exactly what he thought of them!!

well if it's not that simple, thrash it out here, where there's a clang of 'jack of all trades, master of bankruptcy' there's always a way.

There's a plan with a few hurdles, at least you're not thrashing about in the dark. Keep your spirits up and hope it goes smoothly tomorrow.

    Hi Kerry

Good luck tomorrow to your DH....keep strong & calm . TBH whether the sale goes through or not you are neither of you liable for the shortfall. You are just trying to do your bit to help resolve the property situation.

Also don`t worry about rudeness towards NR....I know how rude they can be to their customers so serves them right....LOL not that they listen to their customers anyway.

Keep plugging away Hun...when you call NR with both BR numbers then maybe they may realise that they are the ones in the no-win situation.

    Well he is now BR!!

What a relief :) We are just waiting for his OR to confirm we can proceed with sale of the house(shouldnt be a problem as my OR okd it) and then I can phone Northern Rock :D

The judge was lovely to him and he was only in 2 minutes. Not sure what will happen with tax yet obviously, but DH feels better :)
