    Others don't charge to transfer in your number.

    I think your find He/She meant you get an extra £5 if you port your number to Vectone.

    They must be too embarrassed to come back to this thread and apologize for accusing me of being a scaremongerer.:D

    No response from Vectone when I asked how to select the 5p tariff.

    I can't see why anyone would choose their higher tariff but I bet it's the one everybody gets put on by default.

    Lack of a response was enough for me to avoid Vectone.

    Tesco and Asda now both offering 8p calls, 4 texts so they'll have to do for now - I can't be bothered to get conned by Vectone.

    I spend less than £2 a month so just top up £5 every no and again.

    I'm with Tesco and Payg, the phone gets very little use, i'm glad that any top-ups i have to make don't have a time restriction on them when they run out if unused.

    Their is a time limit for non use.

    "5.4 If you do not use your Mobile Phone for six months we will disconnect you and you will lose your Credits and Mobile Phone number. If your Mobile Phone is disconnected and you would like to reconnect it, you must call Customer Care. If we agree to reconnect you, you must pay a reconnection fee. Details of the current reconnection fee are available by calling Customer Care. "

    Thanks for that, i thought they told me when i bought the phone it lasted for ever.
    I'll make sure it never goes over the 6mths even though it justs sits in the glove box of the car most of the time.
