    Happy New Year everyone.

    I am going to update on the last day of each month or I will confuse myself (I am easily confused!)

    So December I have paid :-

    MBNA - 367.08
    BLoan - 311.50
    MCS (OH) - 200.00
    MCS (me) - 580.00
    N Power - 513.60

    Total - 1972.18

    Pleased with the start because we will have a quiet few months now. Well done so far everyone x x x

    Right. I really need to sleep. Spent hrs listing books on amazon, a first for New Years Eve, but it takes all sorts to make the world go round.

    Nothing much to report - usual payments went out in December. I am so excited a brand new year and closer to paying off my debts.

    Original debt at LBM July 2008, £47, 654.34. Debt at January 2016, £21,443. Barclaycard [STRIKE]£9,000[/STRIKE]£8,756, Tesco cc [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£1,136. Debenhams storecard [STRIKE]£350[/STRIKE]£263, OD [STRIKE]£3,500[/STRIKE] £3,000, Corp Tax £3,036, Study loan £1,750, Smaller debts £2,000.

    Since my LBM I have not been fully committed so now I have had a 2nd LBM.
    Aiming to be debt free by December 2016:D

    £1497.00 paid off today.:T I love the 1st of the month, whereas a couple of years ago I dreaded it coming around. How things have changed. !;) Now I love to see the debt coming down, and finding ways of making our money go further and getting the best out of it. Still a long way to go, but working on it. Hope everyone has a successful challenge for 2010.:T

    Happy new year all! We had a nasty car breakdown over the holiday and thought we might end up having to buy a new car, but thankfully it turns out it's only going to be a few hundred pounds to repair, so heaving a big sigh of relief there.
