Ooh, I paid just over £202 off my CC today which means that when this month's minimum payment is taken out I will owe 'only' £999.99, roughly half of my original CC bill! :T :j (That was my aim for the New Year.) I'm not :A like Hypno, so I've changed my signature already as a method of staying motivated.
Also, I won £2.50 on online bingo today, which I've put in my savings account. I may pay it off the CC at a later date, though. (Again, I still have more tickets to go, but we shall see what they bring.)
Was supposed to go out for dinner with friends tonight but I'm not going so it means I've not spent some more money. Please call me 'Pickle'

PAYDAY :j:j:j and it was actually quite a profitable month ( I'm self employed)!!!
Transferred £1000 to my ISA cos I really need to make a start to my house deposit fund. So that's just over £1500 paid off/saved so far
Payments to debt will come out at start of January and once they have cleared I will make some overpayments here too I think!
Keep up the good work everyone xxx0 -

Well in my haste and exitement to make first payment of the challange spent £2 on bus fair to high street monday only to realise bank holiday so went in co-op and brought some more reductions.
So yesterday decided to save my self the stupidly expensive bus fare and walk so put both kids in double buggy as was dark, wet and cold.
Got to bank paniced i wasent going to fit through door but did with 2cm spare!
Pais in dec £40 loan payment as money was going out same day usually goes out on 28th.
As paid in before 3.30pm incur no charges.
raised money from selling.
daughter even got free biscuit so guess all bankers not bad!
next challange is pay £100 to evil barclaycard thats just min payment im slightly late paying and they constantly harassing me with calls, letters and texts they nitemare and really horrid on phone so priority to clear as 29.9%interest rate!
Need to confer with hubby what hes paid this month as doing challanges together and will amend sig according.
His loan is £364 plus hes made min payments to 2credit cards but not had bank charges in last 2months so thats good thing.
In 2009 I paid off nearly £1000 on od mostly due to charges and reserve fees bringing my account into limit but still got £1750 to pay off od but making baclaycard £1400, cat £750 my priority over next few months although appalled to find od costs me £30 a month in interest.
Trying to be positive for new year both me and hubby being open and honest with finances now.
using council tax break feb, march to pay off extra £260 off hubbys credit card.
trimmed our budgets down so hubby can make additional payments to his cc.
we pulled daughter from nursury saving £130 a month
switched ultilities saving us £50
aiming to cut back on grocery spend which been getting out of control again.
Im looking for part time job in new year which will be big help.
will keep ebaying like mad, need to get back into dooyoo but always get stuck what to reveiw?
As its winter I miss carbooting.
being clever with our points this year and saving adavantage/nectar for xmas 2010.
tesco clubcard trading in for meals and days out as worth more.
even making hubby fill up car at sainsburys garage and pay with his tesco credit card therefore earning both at same time!
Januarys going to be tough month as set myself huge extra payments to round some debts off.
then taking 10months feb -november and dividing my 10 to work out how much need to pay off each
Am also trying to save £60 a month
£20 is special brittania savings account wnated to open yesterday but double buggy woudent fit through door giving me lump sun of £240 in dec plus £10 co-op voucher.
The £40saving is feb-july to buy me a new computer as my 30th birthday as feel we need to live a little!
Doubtful we holiday this year unless hubby earns bonus.
oldest daughter needs new carseat and its in sale atm so want to get now.
