Good to see some excellent payments being made already - but don't worry if you are yet to get started - the "year" is young!!

A couple of smallish payments this week for me, but I am on track I think......a long way to go yet, though!

  • Hi and well done to everyone ... you all are being sooo focussed despite December being sooo ruddy expensive!!

Just thought I'd catch up with reading the posts. Just paid £50 to capital one and againn realised I must switch to 0% cc. Interest is over £100 AAAArgh.

    Keep it up everybody. xxxxxxx
  • That shud read £500 to capital one......£50 wasnt even an option as a minimum payment !!!!!!!:rotfl:
  • I daren't pay anymore than the minimums this month as it's a 6 week month between paydays, but hopefully if we're careful we'll be able to throw some at the debt at the end of Jan. Well done everyone!!

Northing really to report, have been padding along nicely. Its only 2 days till payday so tomorrow I am going to have to do a round up and figure out where I'm at and how I'm going to make it to the end of January, bloody long month. Not quite 6wks though.

Oh ye meant to say have paid my last payment to sky so thats that cancelled so that should give me another 50 quid to pad each month......

Oh how I can't wait to be sorted

Made a couple more small payments to evil egg using the every little helps theory .. that blighter has the highest interest rate so I'm throwing all I can at it. Not put this challenge in my signature yet as I'm not sure whether to count what I pay or what the debt actually reduces by.
I'll give it more thought after Christmas.
Pleased to say that my purse is officially closed now, at least until New Year's Day... off to freeze the ccs too!
