I love that loads of people are posting % paid off - I think its really motivating and you can see how quickly everyone is paying off their targets! Nothing to report from me unfortunately - I'm waiting for the end of the month and then will make a bumper payment. I'm hoping to do around £1,000 but will see how well OH's month has gone (he gets commission).

Is everyone ready for xmas? I have got and nearly wrapped all presents, but not sorted food yet! eek!!
    Paying down the mortgage:
    At 1 October 2011: £226,000
    Currently: £224,499
    Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
    Paid £1,500
    Target remaining: 88.89%

Do it whichever way works best for you, Mel. Normally I pay off a lump sum at the end of the month when I'm paid, but I'm playing it differently this month cos it's Christmas and I don't want to leave myself too short cos I can practically guarantee that there will be hidden expenses etc. so I'm not making a bulk payment yet, just putting any extra bits that come my way (online bingo wins etc.) off the debt for now. I will try very hard not to go mad on what's in my account and pay off a lump sum at the end. (I also have to consider that the length of time between being paid is longer than usual as I was paid early.) The troubles with finance!

BTW paid £31.03 off CC last night thanks to another online bingo win. :j
