Thanks everyone for all the encouraging posts. You're right, any debt repayment is better than nothing, even if it is the minimum.
I phoned the Student Loan company this morning and had a very pleasant suprise, the outstanding balance on my account is now only £340.33!!! I'm over the moon, I thought it was way more than that. It will be paid off by February 2011, unless I manage to over pay sooner. Then that's an extra £67 a month to pay of other debts. The light at the end of the tunnel is pretty dim, but it WILL shine brighter!!!0 -
