I've been totally pants at this but I really need to get there. Have had trouble paying the bills in the last few months let alone paying debt off. Although have managed to reduce amount owing to mum to £493 and have transferred o/draft costing £30 per month to interest free c/card. Student loan has probably reduced by £300. Hitatchi capital amount has probably reduced too, all down to those minimum repayments.
£2k by xmas 2010?

Don't be too hard on yourself VicPlum. You may not reach your target but those figures are still coming down. It's all a bonus.

I agree with parsniphead, VicPlum, don't be hard on yourself. Any reduction in debt is a great thing and it doesn't matter if you don't reach your target. I felt like you last year when I struggled to pay debts off but this year I have continued trying and it does go down.

well done everyone we all sometimes have our little blips where we have not been as good as we could have been but we are all still here and trying which is the main thing £500 towards debt repayments and £200 overpayment on the mortgage slightly smailler than previous payments but am saving for some other things and rather than putting it on the card thought it would be prudent to reduce debt payment plan. such good work being carried out well done xmisselvis proud and in motion - dealing with her debts step by step
